The Wheaton Junior Woman’s Club was established in 1949 under the guidance of the Woman’s Department Club of Wheaton. The priority of the club was to help the community. Today, the club continues its efforts in improving the community through fundraising, service, social opportunities and philanthropy. We have provided thousands of hours of volunteer support to various local organizations. Through our fundraising, we've been fortunate to donate tens of thousands of dollars to organizations in need.

Our club welcomes women of all ages to join us in helping others, supporting community and beginning new friendships
Community Service
Throughout the year we incorporate ways in which our members can support our local community.
Past events include: Feed My Starving Children, making dog toys for the local animal shelter, packing snack packs for Ronald McDonald House, arranging meal delivery to Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital, packing care boxes for cancer patients through Phil's Friends, organizing food and supply drives
Scholarships
Local high school seniors are awarded based on their academic and personal accomplishments
This year $4000 was awarded to high school seniors from Wheaton North High School and Wheaton Warrenville South High School. Recipients were honored at our April general meeting. We are always impressed with the work of the young people in our community.

Social
We all need a little time with others to connect.
We start our club year with a social called Summer Salad Supper. In November we hold our Friendship Dinner, Wine Exchange in December. We've had a Golden Girls Bar Crawl and Progressive Dinner. The year ends with a potluck dinner and installation of the new board.
