Coffee and…. Connection: Starting the Year Together

Some of the best moments in our club are the simplest ones — the ones without an agenda, a timeline, or anything to accomplish beyond just being together.

On January 4, members of the Wheaton Junior Woman’s Club gathered for a relaxed “Coffee and…” morning to kick off the new year. Hosted in a member’s home, the space quickly filled with the comforting aroma of fresh coffee and tea, along with a table of pastries ready to be shared.

There’s something special about stepping outside of a formal setting and into a living room. It creates space for deeper conversations, stronger connections, and a chance for newer members to feel truly welcomed. By the end of the morning, it was clear that this simple gathering had done exactly that. Those who attended had an opportunity to catch up after the holidays, share highlights from the past year, and talk about what they looked forward to in the months ahead.

If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to be part of the Wheaton Junior Woman’s Club, it often looks a lot like this — warm, welcoming, and built on genuine connection. We’d love to have you join us for a future gathering.
